Garden Club

Fostering Education and Interest in Gardening

The Greentree Garden Club fosters education and interest in gardening and engages in garden-based community service. The Club sponsors the garden at the Westside Post Office and maintains the Greentree Neighborhood sign and landscaping at Whitney Way and Piping Rock Road as well as the landscaping at the neighborhood park signs. The Club also supports the teaching garden at Milele Chikasa Anana Elementary School.

Most importantly, the Club gives members the opportunity to socialize and share their common interest in plants and the landscape.

When

The Club meets monthly. Most meetings are on the third Monday of the month at 7:00 pm.

Where

Most meetings are usually held at the police station on McKenna Blvd. However, in spring through fall, the Club often schedules outdoor tours or garden visits. Members especially enjoy the December holiday party with its garden-themed gift exchange.

Who Can Join?

The Club welcomes new members. Interest, not expertise, is required!

Yearly dues are $20.
